University residence halls
All students, French and international, can benefit from accommodation in a CROUS Normandie university residence hall. This moderately priced accommodation has the advantage of being furnished and equipped.
There are a high demand and a limited number of places available, which is why the main stage in the allocation of Crous accommodation is reserved exclusively for students who have completed a student social file. This process is essential, and priority is given to students who meet the regulatory conditions for applying for a grant based on social criteria.

Housing assistance and property rental deposit
Rent is a major part of the student budget. Subject to certain income conditions, students may qualify for the APL (Aide personnalisée au logement) or the ALS (Allocation logement à caractère social). There are a number of housing grants available to students: from the Caisse d’allocations familiales, Action Logement and local schemes!
Caisse d’allocations familiales
All procedures can be carried out online with the caisse d’allocations familiales www.caf.fr
International students
If you are studying for 2 semesters or more at ENSICAEN, it may be worth applying for a housing allowance to reduce your rent!

The Visale plan plan is a free deposit plan for students aged between 18 and 30 who do not have a financial guarantor for their property rental. To benefit from the guarantee, you need to take the necessary steps before signing the rental contract!
