Attentive to the success of its students and all its staff, ENSICAEN is committed to taking equal opportunities into account in recruitment, staff training, career management, the organisation of studies and examinations, and the adaptation and accessibility of its premises. In addition to providing support for people with disabilities, a solidarity-based purchasing policy and disability training and awareness initiatives are being implemented as part of the 2023-2026 multi-year disability plan.
Several people have been specifically assigned to advise and support disabled people, people with disabilities or suffering from disabling illnesses, as well as people accompanying a disabled relative.
The aim is to improve physical and digital accessibility, and to provide specific, adapted facilities to enable everyone to feel valued, confident and safe so that they can achieve their full potential.
ENSICAEN is committed to supporting students and members of staff through its disability advisors, welcoming them under special conditions, assessing their needs and making the necessary adjustments to ensure that their studies and career progress smoothly.
Recruitment and support
Members of staff with disabilities
ENSICAEN is committed to creating a professional environment that encourages the emergence of skills and talents. By supporting disabled staff members as they take up their new posts and organise their work, ENSICAEN is creating the right conditions for everyone to develop their potential and fulfil their potential at work.
Each member of staff, on arrival and throughout their career, can be supported if necessary in the implementation of special arrangements, whether in terms of working hours or in the performance of their duties. We also encourage the recruitment and tenure of people with disabilities.
